The new sony Pictures Worldwide Marketing & Distribution has upped Angela Galgani to SVP Publicity. She'll dominate day-to-day responsibilities running the NY publicity office, a job formerly held by Gigi Semone, who departed in September. The brand new tasks include managing the NY staff and developing New England-based PR campaigns for Columbia Pictures and The new sony Pictures Animation releases. Her current workload includes The Lady Using The Dragon Tattoo, Ghost Driver: Spirit of Vengeance, 21 Jump Street, The Pirates! Gang Of Misfits, Males in Black 3, I Dispise You Father, and also the Amazing Spider-Guy, amongst others. She formerly was Vice president Publicity and began at The new sony Pictures being an intern in 1997.
